HEREFORD RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB USE "EASYFUNDRAISING"
To all Members, parents and friends of Hereford Rugby Club, The Rugby Club desperately needs more funds to keep us running and improving, and the "Easyfundraising" scheme for charities is really a potential goldmine. There's no downside - it just needs a few minutes to register. Please help us!
"Easyfundraising" is a brilliant way of raising funds for our Rugby Club, while making your online purchases. We have been trying it out over the last few months by just 2 or 3 of us using it and now we want to ask all members and supporters to really make the little effort needed effort - it will be worth hundreds or thousands of £££s to the club. The idea is that if you do any online shopping (booking flights, trains, airport parking, holidays, hotels, buying books, CDs, DVDs, clothes, wine, tickets, Christmas presents, whatever..), you do it by going first through this "Easyfundraising" site, which then links to Amazon, M&S, Tesco or whoever. Then the retailer donates a percentage (2.5% at Amazon, 5% at M&S etc) of your spend to HRFC. That can amount to a serious amount of money if we can get lots of people involved. (The money comes from their advertising budget, and makes no difference to the price you pay.)
All you have to do is :
Right now - go to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ and Register. Just your name, email address, choose a password, and choose us as your charity (search for us by typing "Hereford" the search in the top line, then click when it comes up with "Hereford RFC". Whenever you shop online - go to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ and login with your email address and password. Then go to whatever store or supplier you want, selected from their lists of stores or products. Purchase as normal. That's it! (You can tick for your computer to remember you on that site, so no need to sign in each time).
Also - you can make money for us every time you do a "search" on the web! Just go to http://www.easysearch.org.uk/, register as fundraising for 'Hereford RFC', then save the search page as a Favourite or Bookmark - or even make it your home page. Then make all your searches through that page, instead of Google or whatever. It is really good, and combines the search power of several major search engines. Only 10 searches a day raises £20 a year for the Club.
Please pass this on to friends and family, or use it at work. It only takes minutes to set up, then you can quickly and easily use the site whenever you shop. The Club really needs the money and will use it to provide even better facilities and training for all our members.

  CLUB PRESS RELEASE (11:52 23/11/2010)

After a disappointing start to the season, the Club’s General Committee met last Monday to review the current position and the present coaching structure. It was agreed that the existing format was not achieving the success it should and needed reorganising. To that end it was decided that the role of Director of Coaching was no longer appropriate and therefore the services of Steve Bradley were not required. The committee thanked Steve for his contribution to the club over the past 18 months and wished him well for the future.
Hereford RFC also reports that chairman Guy Griffiths has tendered his resignation, which will be formally acknowledged at the next committee meeting. Guy has been an integral part of the Club for many years and held the post of Honorary chairman for the past 10. Guy will remain involved with the club, primarily heading the planned relocation project together with Malcolm Harris and Phil Green.
The whole of the club thanks Guy for his outstanding contribution, dedication, commitment and loyalty to Hereford Rugby Club.

  HRFC PLANNING APPLICATION (20:26 16/08/2010)

Club Chairman Guy Griffiths has issued the following email: "The long awaited planning application is shortly to be submitted and it is important that those who support the application should make their feelings known to the planning authority. I am sending you this e mail 4 weeks before any letter of support needs to be sent. They should be sent to the Chief Planning Officer; Hereford Council; Blueschool Street; Hereford and they should quote the application number which will be published later. This new ground will have the most up to date facilities in the UK and will support our very large junior section as well as the senior players. It will consist of 3 full pitches (2 of which will have floodlights), 2 junior pitches, a 4 G Pitch (floodlit- that can be used whatever the weather), an indoor training area, an outdoor training area (floodlit), ample parking and a new Clubhouse and changing rooms. The most up to date environmental guidelines will be adopted in the development. If you are in favour of the development it is extremely important that you make your feelings known. It is vital to its success that as many people as possible send letters expressing their support to enable it to be looked on favourably at the planning stage."
