FOUR tries from Jackie White, including a first-half hat-trick, paved the way for Hereford's emphatic friendly win over the Shropshire outfit. In fact, the Wyesiders had sealed victory by the interval after opening up a commanding 31-0 advantage. White grabbed the first try, following a back-line switch with Richard Mason, who kicked the conversion, and John Downes scored the second touchdown after a quick break by Duncan Bailey. Hereford continued to pile on the pressure, with two further tries from White, one of which was converted by Mason, before Mason scored, himself, and then converted his effort on the stroke of half-time. White scored the only try of the second half and Mason converted.
