The Midlands organising committee decreed that the match between these two sides last weekend should be replayed after the original fixture featured uncontested scrums when Hereford were unable to field a front row after 48 minutes when they were leading 24-14. The Wyesiders went on to win 39-14 and both clubs agreed that result should stand. But, as Stratford were within two scores of Hereford at the time of uncontested scrums, the committee decided that a replay should take place on 1 April.

However, Stratford cried off on the Thursday before the game with an e-mail to say they could not raise a team and the Warwickshire club will be deducted two points for failing to fulfil a fixture.
