The scoring was opened when Des White received the ball on the right wing and beat the defence with a brilliant outside swerve to score in the corner.

Hereford dominated play and tries came fairly regularly. Further tries were scored by Ali McCall, Des White, two by Jeremy Grisman and Tim Harvey and with Osborne's conversions, Hereford had a 38 - 3 lead at half time, the visitors score coming from a penalty.

Hereford scored a further four tries in the second half through Will Sparey, Harry Jenkins, Matt Pritchard and Jamie Bullock, two of which were converted by Osborne. The visitors were always competitive and scored a penalty try and an excellent try in the corner, both of which were converted.
