LEDBURY  7 - 42  HEREFORD

Saturday, 11 February 2006

Powergen Midlands 3 West (South)

On a bright, sunny afternoon and on a dry pitch, Hereford completed the double over Ledbury.

Tim Harvey scored the first try inside the first minute which was converted by Colin Osborne. The visitors scored a further two sparkling tries in the first half, both converted by Osborne to lead at half time by 21 pts. to nil.

Ledbury made a tremendous effort at the start of the second half to get back on terms. Continued pressure led to Ledbury scoring a converted try after twenty minutes.

The Hereford forwards supplied their threequarters with good ball, which allowed their backs to score a further three tries, all converted by Osborne, to finish as worthy winners by 42 pts. to seven.
